I want a rollover button with a hover state.  Or a rollover character with a hover state, or just about anything that lets me hover my mouse and change the state.

I want to be able to place buttons (or images) on a navigation screen and have those buttons (or images) change color when the learner has clicked on them (so that when the learner comes back, they know they’ve visited that part of the course). Open navigation cues baby.

I want a layout option akin to Captivate that allows me to visually track the branching options in my course. 

I want to layer flash files behind my text.

I want a built-in screen capture tool like Screenr. Only better.  I want this tool to not only record, but also allow me, post capture, to decide whether I want the full motion version, or just the simulation (key screen grab) version.  And I want you to make it easy to integrate this video into my course.

I want to import my PowerPoint and Quizmaker files.

I want the ability to have the learner type a response during one point in the course, and then pull that information and have it appear later in the course.

I want to be able to import various media types such as interactive flash files because you've gone to ActionScript3.

I want to quickly create simulations with stock animated characters/expressions and not need to modify clip art.   Can you please provide me with some  of these characters?  Check that…a LOT of these characters?  And while you’re at it, how about some variation such as age, race, sex, facial expressions, and disabilities (like someone in, say, a wheel chair).  And can you make it drop dead simple to add, remove, and switch out these characters?

I want the ability to make Engage interactions that aren’t so locked into a template.  I want to tweak them!   I want to have a swirly button marker on the screen and I want to be able to define the look and feel of the marker without limits. Seriously, I want a wood-grained swirly button thank you very much! And when the learner clicks on my wood-grained swirly button of glory, I want to choose to have a dialogue box open.  But not just any dialogue box.  Oh no.  I want to control the size and location of the dialogue box and have it play a movie. And I want to control the size of my movie. 

I want a freeform Quizmaker question interface so that I can control question behaviors such as creating my own drag and drop where I tell Quizmaker, “YO QM!, If the learner moves this object to this location, then provide them with this feedback. Or maybe I want some other action to occur.  Can I please control this?  

And I want you to please expand the preceding concept by giving me other if/then style variables that I don’t even yet understand how to use, but know that they will allow me to control darn near every element of my course without limits and create such intensely action-mapped, in-depth scenarios that can track and alter a score based upon the learner's choices that I can't even fathom needing another tool in my toolbox.

And most of all, I want it in a familiar PowerPoint-esque interface with a Quizmaker style timeline so that when I open it up, it soothingly whispers…”you’ve been here already, I’m familiar, check out the new toys.”

Oh, and when I’m done, can I please play it on my iPad?
